The sweet spot for leads and follower growth
to go viral or not to go viral

The sweet spot
I’ve done an experiment for the last 4 months. I forced myself to only write threads on my brand pillars:
Marketing
Writing
Branding
And to be fair, it was hard. Not the writing part, but the comparisons.
I’m in a community where other writers are going broad with their content. They talk about anything and everything - whatever seems interesting and can go viral.
It made me want to take their approach.
But I knew this was the way to go, especially because I’ve seen other agencies use the same play - and I knew NOTHING about what they do, what their brand is about…
All because their content had no direction.
Funnily enough, I still want viral and got millions of views.
And the benefit I saw was differentiation.
I’ve been asked recently, “What’s the best way to acquire clients on X?”
Everyone is pulling huge numbers.
Followers, like, etc…
How do you stand out?
Well from this experiment I found it was the simple thing:
Staying true to your brand pillars.
I actually had a prospect tell me on a sales call that he compared 3 different ghostwriting agencies to mine.
He wanted to go with me because the content was target, technical and on niche.
The lesson here is:
The Real Client Magnet: Strategic Reach + Deep Expertise
Start with a well-structured funnel that guides prospects naturally. Here’s a simple breakdown of how this looks:
Social media impressions → Newsletter → Booked call (that’s it)
Focus on growing an engaged newsletter list while creating shareable, niche-focused content.
Create content that both experts and newcomers in your field can appreciate.
Find ways to package your niche content into the viral frameworks working TODAY
Continuously publish your wins to prove competency
If you have any questions, lmk.
Until next time,
Ephraim
