Picture this:
You post something great.
It's relevant, it's timely, it's give value and builds your authority.
And then... boom.
The keyboard warriors descend.
I had a client who went through this exact scenario.
We posted content about Steve Jobs that was spot-on for his niche and what he was selling.
My team had spent hours researching, writing…
And when we gave it to our client for review - he wholeheartedly agreed with the principles and message behind the post.
When we posted it went semi-viral.
But then the comments section exploded.

And it almost caused a knee-jerk response.
“Let’s take the post down”
“These comments don’t look good”
But here’s the thing:
When you zoom out, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

So here's the ugly truth about going viral:
Haters gonna hate
Out of a million impressions, you'll always get a few haters. It's like a law of the internet or something.
Good content invites debate
If your post is doing well, it's going to attract all kinds of opinions. That's actually a good sign.
Principles over popularity
Stand by what you believe in. If you've done your research and you're providing value, don't let the naysayers shake you.
Roll with the punches
For every keyboard warrior, there's someone who resonates with your message. Focus on them.
Goodwill attracts... everything
It's called goodwill marketing for a reason. But remember, goodwill can also attract jealousy and envy. It's part of the game.
Here's the bottom line:
Don't let fear stop you from putting out quality content.
Roll with the punches.
Stay true to your values.
And remember, a few haters are a small price to pay for making a real impact.
Until next time,
Ephraim
