Turn boring facts into content that prints $$$
So many brands forget this

Tuesday, November 19
Your brain is addicted to stories.
Think about it.
You probably remember the plot of Finding Nemo better than your high school chemistry formulas.
It's how we're wired.
And if you're building a personal brand, this matters more than you think.
1. The Science Behind Story Impact
Our brains light up differently when we encounter stories versus plain facts.
Stories trigger multiple areas of our brain, releasing chemicals like oxytocin (the trust hormone) and dopamine (the reward chemical).
Not only does this mean you’re more memorable but depending on your goals, you can adjust your messaging to get a specific emotion.
2. Transform Your Content Strategy
Coming off the previous point, you need to stop treating your expertise like a textbook.
Boring value content is what kills budding personal brands.
Instead:
Turn data points into personal experiences
Example: "5 tips on LinkedIn" becomes "After analyzing 100+ LinkedIn posts, I found…"
Break complex ideas into narrative threads
Think "hero's journey," not "how-to guide.”
A great framework for how to write compelling copy is the PASTOR framework:
Dan Koe, Justin Welsh and many writers swear by this.
3. The Trigger
Start posts with "Last week..." or "I remember when..."
These triggers signal to readers that a story is coming
Use specific details "My first launch brought in $127" hits harder than "I made some money"
Create character arcs → Even in short posts, show transformation
And remember:
Your story bank is bigger than you think. Every client interaction, business decision, and learning moment is content waiting to happen.
Quick Wins for Tomorrow
Take your most popular post
Rewrite it as a story
Test both versions
Track engagement
Remember: don’t focus on going viral.
Go valuable.
Until then,
